Timeline

Sagitta SGR’s journey towards sustainability began long ago; since its relaunch in 2019, the company has integrated its initiatives into a framework of commitment to the communities in which it operates.

Below are the initiatives launched and carried out so far.

2024
EcoVadis – Sustainability Rating

Sagitta earns the Silver Medal following the EcoVadis questionnaire completed in July

PRI Reporting

Sagitta completed its first report on a voluntary basis

Rating ESG Models

Development of a new ESG Rating/Scoring model at the asset, fund, and company level

Internal updates

Review of the Sustainability Policy and a new document on the integration of ESG factors and risks into the investment process

Great Place to Work

Sagitta achieves the goal of “Great Place to Work” certification.

Diversity & Inclusion

Second session of the Diversity & Inclusion training course.

2023
ESG Rating – Credit Funds

Development of a dedicated tool for measuring ESG KPIs.

Second session at Politecnico di Milano “On Line Certification Program ESG ANALYSIS & INVESTING”.

Diversity & Inclusion

Decalogue and first session of the Diversity & Inclusion training course.

UN PRI and Transformation to art.8 SFDR

Sagitta becomes a signatory to the UN-supported PRI (Principles for Responsible Investment). The Obton Italy fund is reclassified from art. 6) SFDR to art.8) SFDR.

Climate and Environmental Risks Action Plan

Establishment of a three-year action plan for 2023/2025 in line with the requests of the Bank of Italy regarding climate and environmental risks.

Training

First session at Politecnico di Milano “On Line Certification Program ESG ANALYSIS & INVESTING”.

2022
Internal Updates

Implementation of actions approved by the Board of Directors – Internal regulatory review – Launch of first sustainability initiatives – New “Leed & Well” headquarters.

Sustainability Committee

The Sustainability Committee begins the development of the ESG plan in all three dimensions (E, S, and G).

Sustainability

Sagitta SGR establishes a comprehensive internal governance framework on sustainability, including the establishment of the Sustainability Committee and the proposal of a minimum activity plan.

Bank of Italy

Bank of Italy issues “Supervisory Expectations” on climate and environmental risks.

2021
Internal Updates

Sagitta SGR updates and publishes the first sustainability policy, appoints the ESG Manager, and updates the website.

New Path

Sagitta SGR begins its journey and alignment with the provisions of EU Regulation 2019/2088 (SFDR).

2020
First ESG Plan

Sagitta SGR prepares its first ESG plan and imagines product initiatives.
