Sido Bonfatti
Chairman
Sido Bonfatti is a lawyer and a professor (of the Italian Bankruptcy Law) at the University of Modena. He has been Chairman of the BoD and board member of several Italian banks (Istituto Bancario Siciliano S.p.A., Banca Industriale Agricola di Radicena, Banca Provincia di Napoli, Finper, Banca dei Comuni Nolani, Banca Popolare San Marco Argentano, Euromobiliare Gestioni S.p.A., Credito Emiliano Lux S.p.A., Banca Popolare Andriese S.p.A., Banca di Latina, Banca del Garda, Banca Interprovinciale S.p.A., Banca Carim S.p.A.). Sido Bonfatti has also been professor of Italian Law at the law department of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, teaching also Commercial Law for more than 10 years. Since 2017 he has also been responsible for the Insovency Law program, held in English. He is the Chairman of the BoD of the SGR since May 2013.
Stefano Bennati
Vice-Chairman
Being one of the founders of Europa Investimenti, Stefano is running EI since the beginning in 2007 and managed several bankruptcies and concordato procedures. He has been responsible for some of the group's companies and is currently in the BoD of Sagitta SGR as Vice-Chairman. Before EI, Stefano has been an investment director at I2 Capital for three years and a director at Banca Intesa S.p.A., running the private equity and special situations division. At the beginning of his career, he worked as business analyst in Cofisa S.p.A. and in Mediocredito Lombardo S.p.A. into the Merchant Banking division. Stefano holds a magna cum laude degree MSc in Finance from the Bocconi University.
Claudio Nardone
Chief Executive Officer
In Europa Investimenti since 2011, Claudio has been engaged in distressed M&A and investments in special sits and is now the CEO of Sagitta SGR. He has been responsible for some of the group's companies (Mediacontech, HDI, SBP, EICF…) and is currently in the BoD of other listed companies in Italy and abroad (Fintel Energia, Fintel Enerjia Doo). Before joining EI, Claudio has been the Head of IBD at Banca MB (an Italian merchant bank), an investment director at Meliorbanca Asset Management SGR, managing two PE funds (Star Venture Fund I and MeliorEquityFund) sponsored by Meliorbanca and also at Gallo&C. S.p.A., an advisory boutique. At the beginning of his career, Claudio worked in EY, Bax Global Inc. and Mc Donald’s Inc. Claudio holds a MSc in Finance from the Bocconi University.
Rosaria Barchiesi
Chief Financial Officer
In Europa Investimenti group for over 3 years, following the acquisition by the EI of a controlling stake in Sagitta SGR, Rosaria has held various roles within the asset management player (SGR), first as Administrative and Operations Director, then as Head of Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering and Legal Affairs Function, finally, as CFO, dedicating himself to the management of portfolios as well as investment UCITS (private equity funds and UCITS) and real estate. He has held the role of Administrative Manager in various companies operating in the asset management sector (Sella Asset Management SGR, Zenit SGR, BNL Eurosecurities SIM, Gemina - Credit Lyonnais SIM) and is currently the CFO of Sagitta SGR. Graduated in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan.
Paola Borracchini
Head of Corporate Affairs
Before joining Sagitta, Paola was Administrative Manager a private equity fund (MPS Group 2002-2010, Italian Investment Fund SGR 2010-2018) and Head of Corporate Affairs (2018-2019 Indaco SGR). At Sagitta, she deals with the establishment of new funds, the corporate secretariat and human resources. Graduated in Law from the University of Siena and with a diploma in European Union Law.
Luca Faggella
Head of the Evaluation Function
With a degree from Bocconi University and a master degree from LSE in London, Luca has carried out activities relating to the structuring of securitization transactions with leading Italian special servicers (Prelios, Guber, NPL SpA) in the field of origination and portfolio valuation. Between 2014 and 2018 he contributed to the birth and development of the NPL financial Services division for Accenture. In Sagitta Sgr since 2020, he holds the role of Head of the Evaluation Function.
Sara Marchesi
Fund Manager
She has twenty years of experience in the management of both private and listed real estate funds, with investments in different kind of properties. Sara, in addition to the asset management activities of the funds of which she is fund manager, deals with the supervision and coordination of property management, facility, project monitoring, project development and construction, as well as the more purely administrative and urban planning aspects, also through the outsourcing to other external consultants.
Ruggiero Valente
Fund Manager
In the Europa Investimenti group for over 5 years, Ruggiero has worked as a financial analyst evaluating multiple investments made by the various companies of the group, then joined Sagitta SGR in the role of fund manager as well as project leader in transactions involving the purchase and / or the dismissal of real estate assets. Before joining the Arrow Group, he had several experiences in leading Italian consulting and banking companies. He has a degree in Finance from Bocconi University in Milan and a Master Degree in Real Estate Valuation and Financing from SDA Bocconi – School of Management.
