Our history

Sagitta SGR‘s journey towards sustainability began long ago; since its relaunch in 2019, the Company has integrated its initiatives into a broader commitment to the communities in which it operates.

Below are the initiatives that have been launched and implemented so far.

August 2024

EcoVadis – Sustainability Rating: Sagitta has been awarded the Silver Medal following the completion of the EcoVadis questionnaire in July.

July 2024

PRI Reporting: Sagitta has completed its first reporting on a voluntary basis.

July 2024

ESG Rating Models: Development of a new ESG Rating/Scoring model at the asset, fund, and SGR level.

May 2024

Internal Updates: Review of the Sustainability Policy and new document related to the integration of ESG factors and risks into the investment process.

May 2024

Great Place to Work: Sagitta achieves the "Great Place to Work" certification.

January 2024

Diversity & Inclusion: Second session of the D&I training course.

December 2023

ESG Rating – Credit Funds:: Development of a tool dedicated to measuring ESG KPIs.

Training: Second session at the Politecnico di Milano for the "Online Certification Program in ESG Analysis & Investing."

September 2023

Diversity & Inclusion: Code of conduct and first session of the D&I training course.

June 2023

UN PRI and Fund Transformation under Article 8 SFDR: Sagitta becomes a signatory of the UN-supported PRI (Principles for Responsible Investment). The Obton Italy fund is reclassified from Article 6 SFDR to Article 8 SFDR.

Training: First session at the Politecnico di Milano for the "Online Certification Program in ESG Analysis & Investing."

March 2023

Climate and Environmental Risk Action Plan:

Development of a three-year action plan for 2023/2025 in line with the Bank of Italy's requirements regarding climate and environmental risks.

December 2022

Internal Updates: Implementation of actions approved by the Board of Directors – Revision of internal regulations – Launch of first sustainability initiatives – New office "Leed & Well" certified.

July 2022

Sustainability Committee: The Sustainability Committee begins the implementation of the ESG plan across all three dimensions (E, S, and G).

June 2022

Sustainability:

Sagitta SGR establishes a comprehensive internal governance framework on sustainability, including the creation of the Sustainability Committee and the proposal of a minimum activity plan.

April 2022

Banca D’Italia: Banca D’Italia issues the "Supervisory Expectations" on climate and environmental risks.

December 2021

Internal Updates: Sagitta SGR updates and publishes its first sustainability policy, appoints the ESG Manager, and updates its website.

February 2021

New Path: Sagitta SGR begins its journey and alignment with the provisions of EU Regulation 2019/2088 (SFDR).

January 2020

First ESG Plan: Sagitta SGR prepares its first ESG plan for itself and envisions product initiatives.
