Bernardo Attolico is Chairman of the Board of Directors at Sagitta SGR.
With over thirty years of international experience in the financial sector, Attolico has held senior roles in investment banking, capital markets, private equity, and export finance, working in leading institutions both in Italy and abroad. Since 2015, he has been part of the SACE group, where he held various positions, eventually becoming Chief Business Officer. Previously, he worked for Muzinich & Co. and Insec-Siparex, and held leadership roles at Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse First Boston, and Barclays de Zoete Wedd. He began his career between London and Tokyo, at The Bank of Tokyo and Yamaichi International.

Federico Silva joined Europa Investimenti in 2016 as Head of Business Development and is now Head of Business Development and Origination as well as a Member of the Board of Directors. He is also Vice President of Sagitta SGR and part of the “Client and Product Solution” team at the parent company, Arrow Global.

Between 2000 and 2003, he was an analyst at DGPA Srl, dealing with M&A transactions for small- and medium-sized Italian enterprises. He then moved to Gallo & C. Spa, within the Energy sector. After earning an MBA from the Stern School of Business in New York, he served as Deputy Chairman of the Energy & Power team at Bank of America in London.

In 2006, Federico returned to Italy as Co-Managing Director of DGPA SGR, where he completed numerous transactions and investments. In 2010, he founded a small publishing house and a golf magazine.

Alberto Manfroi has been a partner at the law firm Atrigna & Partners for over 10 years. He specializes in financial markets and banking law, advising intermediaries on the structuring and execution of transactions involving financial instruments, as well as on financial regulation more broadly. Previously, he served as in-house counsel for prominent industrial and banking groups. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of BG Saxo SIM S.p.A. and is a frequent speaker at conferences related to his area of expertise.

She is Deputy Director of AIFI (Italian Private Equity, Venture Capital and Private Debt Association). Within the association, she heads the Tax & Legal and Institutional Affairs Office, overseeing institutional relations, legislative proposals, and interactions with regulatory authorities. She also serves as Editor-in-Chief of the association’s newsletter and as CEO of AIFI Ricerca e Formazione.

Since 2013, she has been a member of the Technical Committee for the Smart&Start incentives program run by Invitalia. From 2011 to 2019, she was a member of the Board of Directors of Incipit Campania. Between 2006 and 2007, she took part in the European Commission’s expert group on “Removing obstacles to cross-border investments by venture capital funds.” From 2005 to 2007, she supported the Department for Innovation and Technologies in developing the High-Tech Fund project for Southern Italy. Prior to that, she represented AIFI on the EVCA (now Invest Europe) Tax & Legal Committee.

She graduated with honors in Political Economy from Bocconi University in Milan.

Marco Grimaldi is Executive Chairman of Europa Investimenti and Italy Country Manager of Arrow Global. He is responsible for the group’s Portfolio Management activities at the national level. Previously, within the Arrow Global group, Marco held executive roles at Whitestar Credit Solutions and Zenith Global. He has more than 30 years of experience in investment banking, principal finance, and asset management, having worked for five years at ABN AMRO Bank in London in corporate finance and securitization, for eight years at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in London in securitization and principal finance, and, between 2009 and 2012, as Head of Structuring and Trading for Commerzbank’s “bad bank.”

Marco graduated from Bocconi University in Milan.

Chiara Damiana Maria Burberi began her career in strategic consulting at McKinsey and subsequently held several roles within UniCredit Group, including Head of Retail Foreign Banks, Head of Group Organization, and Group Compliance COO. She was also a Partner at the training company Business Performance Institute.
She co-founded redooc.com, an edtech platform, and served as General Manager of the Mulino-Carocci publishing group. She has acted as an independent board member and member of Risk Committees for major listed and regulated Italian and international financial and industrial companies, including UniCredit Romania, Koçbank, Seat Pagine Gialle, Meridiana Fly, Aviva Italia Holding, Prima Industrie, ePrice, and MOL Group.
Currently, in addition to serving as an independent board member of Sagitta SGR, she is an independent board member — and Chair of the Risk Committee — of Worldline Merchant Services Italia. She is also a Senior Advisor at the consulting firm Simon-Kucher and Chief Executive Officer of Family Next, an advisory company focused on Family Businesses and Family Offices.

She graduated from Bocconi University, studied at London Business School, attended the CEMS Master’s program at HEC, earned a PhD in Business Administration from Bocconi University, and completed an Executive Program at the Polytechnic University of Milan.
